ABOUT THE ROLE:

Seeking summer internship for Magna Electronics North American Sales organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a summer intern, you will support the NA sales organization and its team members with their daily activities.

1. Securing new business / sales

2. Maintenance of existing business

3. Internal reporting of current and future business

4. Support other functions as member of cross-functional teams

Specific Responsibilities Include:

· Support Sales with completing customer surveys and general maintenance of supplier portals

· Tracking of customer recovery/income for items such as inflation, tariffs, expedites, etc.

· Develop skills to quote engineering changes/new business and negotiate with customers

· Support launch teams/other departments as part of a cross-functional team

· Support sales in keeping internal databases (GSD, IronClad, etc) up to date.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

· High School Diploma

· Currently Attending a College or University

YOUR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Candidate for business degree or relevant field

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

· Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
