Job Responsibilities:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Students will build engineering skills while working directly with experienced Cosma personnel to participate in all aspects sustainability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Contribute to supply chain inventory project to map the current status of suppliers regarding their decarbonization pathways and sustainability goals.

· Maintain and update the Supplier Inventory SharePoint site with updates and/or new data

· Update the Cosma Product Sustainability webpage when necessary, with updates and/or new content

· Contribute to writing life cycle assessment (LCA) reports and follow up the timeline of ongoing projects

· Support the team with creating graphs and visual representations to be used in presentations and/or reports internally or externally

· Assist the team to keep them up to date about the existing or newly published regulations/standards relevant to sustainability, green steel, green aluminum, supply chain, etc. for automotive industry

· Support the team on creating LCA training materials

· Assist documenting and communicating results of assessments both internally and externally

· Support customer-facing teams with customer presentations and engagement on sustainability.

· Act with honesty and integrity and make ethical business choices in accordance with Magna’s Compliance Policies and Procedures.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Some related experience preferred

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma

· Currently Attending a College or University

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

· Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

· Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
