As an Operational Management Intern at Magna Automotive, you will have the opportunity to enhance your operational management skills, critical thinking abilities, and practical knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Grow practical knowledge and skill by taking on real-time, on-the-job projects to improve operations such as waste reduction, process optimization, quality improvements or managing supply chain issues.
• Work under the guidance of operational leaders and industry experts to:

• Learn and apply foundational concepts and processes in manufacturing, quality and supply chain, and understand their interdependencies.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Recommend innovative solutions to optimize processes and / or enhance products.
• Troubleshoot and solution day to day challenges as they arise on the shop floor.

Who we are looking for

Your preferred qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to solve problems with a proactive and innovative approach.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Communication and collaboration skills to work stakeholders at various levels.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Prior experience

Working Conditions

• Shop floor and office environment
• Required to carry out routine, repetitive tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, lifting, packing, stacking, bending, climbing / descending / going under or on equipment as well as some physical lifting.
• Regularly exposed to noise, temperature change and lubricants and vibration.
• Wears all PPE as required including company uniform
