Job Responsibilities:

POSITION OVERVIEW
This role will support the development and implementation of Carbon Net-Zero and EHS strategy at 
Magna Exteriors group and its divisions. Promoting sustainability as a guiding principle of Magna 
Exteriors operations and supporting EHS compliance at the company's divisions are key parts of this role. 
This position will also support the development of internal and external communication and training 
materials related to sustainability and EHS regulations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Advance the mission of Carbon Net-Zero at Magna Exteriors divisions.
• Support and champion projects that improve economic and environmental performance and 
increase positive impacts on employees and the community at the Group and Divisional levels.
• Assist in the development and implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at fostering a 
positive safety culture within the organization.
• Participate in data collection, analysis and reporting of carbon, energy and other environmental and 
health and safety KPIs.
• Assist divisions with complying with customers’ sustainability requirements.
• Assist in the ensuring compliance with the internal sustainability standard.
• Conduct research and analysis of current and future regulations and industry 
trends/requirements, pertaining to sustainability.
• Assist with PFAS identification and reporting procedures at the divisions.
• Support development and implementation of processes to maintain accurate chemical 
inventories, reducing compliance risk and supporting EHS objectives.
• Provide direct support to divisions as needed, helping to implement EHS standards and address 
site-specific needs.
• Contribute to supplier outreach programs focused on promoting supply chain sustainability.
• Help gather and analyze supplier sustainability data to identify opportunities and minimize 
sustainability risks.
• Support the expansion of data monitoring across manufacturing plants to enable continuous 
improvement projects and advance Factory of the Future / Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Aid in collecting and analyzing life-cycle data for key products.
• Work in cross-functional teams.
• To exhibit an objective, fair and professional attitude that exemplifies the principles outlined in The

• To follow Magna policies and display conduct expected of Magna employees as described in the 
employee handbook.
• To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Magna.
• To follow safety rules of Magna and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and 
healthful workplace.
• Assist Group Environmental, Health and Safety & Sustainability team in day-to-day EHS and 
sustainability activities.
• Perform environmental calculations for sustainability reporting and troubleshooting.
• Generate progress reports and presentations for action items and special projects.
• Perform other duties as directed.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Passion for learning
• Strong drive for making an impact
• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental 
Studies, Business or a related field of study


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma
• Currently Attending a college or University (2nd, 3rd or 4th year preferred)


SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
• Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of technologies around energy efficiency, decarbonization, LCA, EHS regulations is a 
plus.
• Experience or interest in data analytics is a plus.
• Power BI experience or Power Apps is a plus
• Preference given to students with a background in economic, social, or environmental sustainability,
or EHS. Experience in manufacturing is not required.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able 
to conduct normal amount of work at a computer
