JOB SUMMARY
As a Supply Chain Intern, you’ll be more than just an observer, you’ll be an active contributor to the systems and processes that keep our operations running smoothly. From tracking inventory to optimizing logistics, your work will directly influence how efficiently we serve our customers and how effectively we manage resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and reconciling stock discrepancies using ERP systems.
- Support purchasing activities by preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and communicating with suppliers.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate shipments, track orders, and resolve delivery issues.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand how supply chain decisions impact production, sales, and customer service.
- Help document and refine standard operating procedures for supply chain processes.
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR ABILITIES:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a knack for problem-solving.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

WORK ENVIROMENT
- This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer equipment, phones, scanners, copiers, and fax machines. Office-based with frequent interaction with customers, dispatch, and sales teams.
- Occasional travel to company facilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a largely sedentary role with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position 40 hours per week. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.
WORK AUTHORIZATION
Eligibility to work in the U.S. with the appropriate work authorization documentation.
