Job Summary

As an intern, you are considered an integral part of The Gund Company team. You will be challenged with completing an impactful business project that will enhance your business skills as well as contribute to the company’s goals and objectives. You will also gain additional experience and insights through structured activities such as training sessions, department meetings and extracurricular events. 


Essential Job Functions

  • Program is open to undergraduate and graduate students 
  • Students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have completed relevant coursework.
  • Courses or majors in Engineering, Information Technology, Sales, Management, Human Resources, Finance/Accounting and Supply Chain
  • Opportunities may exist in the following business units: Finance, Sales, Human Resources, Supply Chain (Production), IT, Engineering, Marketing
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.2
  • Other duties may be assigned.


Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

 

Program Components

  • Hands-on learning through an assigned project within one of The Gund Company’s functions. Specific accountabilities will vary for each project but may include development, data gathering, research and analysis, input into strategy and project management. 
  • Exposure to The Gund Company business; both domestic and international
  • End of summer presentation to senior management

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently; keen analytical and proven problem-solving skills; strong strategic and conceptual aptitude; proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
