Job Description

The Role

As an Intern/Working Student, you will join our European investment team and benefit from a wide range of learning opportunities. Your responsibilities will vary based on current priorities and may include:

  • Financial Analysis & UnderwritingPerform detailed financial analyses of European real estate assets, including discounted cash flow analysis, time-weighted returns, leveraged and unleveraged IRRs, equity multiples, promote calculations, and other performance metrics.
  • Asset Management SupportAssist with quarterly valuations, leasing approvals, reviewing commercial contracts, business plans, and investor reporting.
  • Market ResearchConduct research across European real estate sectors to understand market fundamentals such as rental rates, occupancy, supply/demand, capital market trends, and transaction activity.
  • Financial ModelingSupport the development of real estate financial models.
  • Transaction Due DiligenceParticipate in due diligence processes for transactions.
  • Investment MaterialsHelp prepare investment memorandums and presentations.
  • Portfolio Management & DispositionsProvide support for portfolio initiatives and asset dispositions.

Duration

The internship is for 2–4 months.

The internship will enable the individual to learn about the real estate investment process, day-to-day business functions, and decision making of the organization as well as interfacing with all levels of management.   • Near-completed MSc degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field (minimum requirement: completed BSc).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
