About the Role
At BSA, we design spaces that inspire and support healing, learning, and discovery. We are seeking an Interior Design student for a summer internship, offering the opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world experience contributing to environments that make a meaningful impact on communities.


What You’ll Do:

  • Support a wide range of interior design projects, working closely with our experienced team.
  • Assist designers in creating, planning, and managing interior design projects.
  • Contribute to the development of design solutions that meet client needs and uphold BSA’s high standards of quality.
  • Prepare construction documents and specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established design standards and governing agency requirements.
  • Document and organize design materials, maintaining the interior’s library and control books.
  • Collaborate on design concepts, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, and client specifications.
  • Participate in project design meetings, gaining insight into multi-disciplinary teamwork.
  • Attend client meetings and visit construction sites to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.
  • Conduct research that directly influences design decisions.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the interior design team.

Education and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, acknowledged by CIDA.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, 3D CAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and other graphic software.
  • Office Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite.
