About The Company
At Winnebago Industries, we believe that time spent outdoors is time well-spent. Winnebago Industries is a leading North American manufacturer of outdoor recreation products under the Grand Design, Newmar, Winnebago, Barletta and Chris-Craft brands. We are a family of brands, each unique in its own rich legacy, but united in the pursuit to elevate every moment outdoors for our customers. The company builds high-quality motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth-wheel products, outboard and sterndrive powerboats, pontoons and commercial community outreach vehicles. Committed to advancing sustainable innovation and leveraging vertical integration in key component areas, Winnebago Industries has multiple facilities in Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota and Florida. The Company’s common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and traded under the symbol WGO. We’re looking for people who are as passionate about their work as they are about the outdoors. We seek fresh minds and skilled hands that can bring new perspectives, ways of working and technology to deliver exceptional experiences. We do this best when we allow ourselves the time to enjoy the environment — so we seek to keep a healthy balance between work and play. Be part of a team that treats each other with the respect, trust and humility needed to create extraordinary outdoor experiences for our customers.
About the Role

Power Your Engineering Career with a Leader in Energy Innovation

At Lithionics Battery, we don’t just build batteries—we engineer intelligent, safe, and high‑performance energy solutions that power the future of transportation, recreation, and commercial electrification. From RVs and marine vessels to industrial EV platforms, our products are trusted in some of the most demanding environments.

As a Mechanical Engineer intern on our engineering team, you’ll be part of a company recognized for its commitment to innovation, quality, and U.S.-based manufacturing excellence. Join us and help advance electrification in a hands‑on, fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support our engineering group with real design work, meaningful documentation improvements, and high‑impact product development tasks that integrate directly into our production workflow.

Key Responsibilities

CAD Database Management

Blueprint Updates & Redlines

  • Apply redline corrections to mechanical drawings, ensuring our documentation reflects the current state of production and engineering changes.

Component Design

  • Create 3D models and production‑ready 2D drawings for custom busbars and heatsinks, contributing directly to thermal and electrical subsystem development.

Drafting Quality & Standards Enforcement

  • Review mechanical drawings for consistency, accuracy, GD&T use, and formatting—serving as the initial compliance checkpoint before final engineering approval.

What You Bring
