Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a AI Intern to join the Corporate Team. We are currently seeking a motivated and technologically adept individual to join our team as an AI Intern. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with leading-edge AI technologies and contribute significantly to our AI initiatives.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Collaborate with business units across the organization to gather, sanitize, and prepare company data for AI usage. This includes understanding the data requirements, ensuring data integrity, and safeguarding data privacy.
  • Actively assist in managing interactions with AI models, including but not limited to, initiating prompts and interpreting responses in a conversational setting with GPT models.
  • Support AI-centric technical services, ensuring their smooth operation in line with our business requirements.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain scripts that automate and enhance AI-related tasks, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our AI operations.
  • Support and maintain the IT infrastructure and services associated with AI tools and applications. This includes regular system checks, troubleshooting issues, and working collaboratively with our IT team to prevent service disruptions.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing AI landscape.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills: 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related degree program.
  • College Junior or higher preferred.
  • A strong understanding of AI technologies and applications.
  • Proficiency in scripting and/or programming languages is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on implementing practical, efficient solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
