🎯 What you will do

We’re looking for a curious and creative intern to join Joko’s Marketing team and help bridge our B2B and B2C worlds through a true obsession for brands.

As a Marketing Associate Intern, you’ll work across the B2B Marketing and Campaign & Merchandising teams to attract and retain brand partners, conduct market research, and deliver impactful campaigns that connect brands and users.

You’ll play a key role in bringing Joko’s merchant ecosystem to life, from understanding shopping behaviors to optimizing how brands engage millions of users through our platform.

💪🏻 Your main missions

  • Analyze and understand market trends: Conduct consumer and merchant studies, turning behavioral data and market insights into actionable initiatives that enhance both partner visibility and user engagement.

  • Support campaign planning & execution: Collaborate on the campaign calendar with the Brand and B2B teams to design, launch, and optimize engaging partner campaigns across Joko’s channels (in-app, CRM, social, and email).

  • Contribute to merchandising development: Work with the Campaign & Merchandising teams to highlight the best deals and maximize their impact through smart in-app placement and storytelling.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Act as the bridge between Marketing, Sales, and Account Management to ensure every brand campaign is seamless, relevant, and performance-driven.

👀 Who we're looking for

  • Education: Master’s degree in a business or communication school, ideally with a focus on marketing, brand, or management.

  • Experience: Looking for a 6-month internship with at least one prior experience in marketing, brand, or consulting.

  • Languages: Fluent in French (native level) and proficient in English (written and spoken).

  • Mindset: Analytical, creative, and eager to explore the intersection of brand, data, and growth.

  • Interest in brands: You’re passionate about brand storytelling, partner marketing, and how brands create meaningful connections with users.

  • Culture fit: You’re proactive, collaborative, and excited to help shape how brands engage with Joko’s users.

  • Location: Paris or Barcelona.

🤝 Our hiring process

  1. Intro call: Quick screening with the Hiring Manager or a recruiter.

  2. Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): Conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, people from the team you’d join, or colleagues from other teams).

  3. Step 2 – Role-specific assessments

    • For non-tech roles: Take-home case study followed by a 45 min debrief. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to the role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design).

    • For tech roles: Live technical interviews:

      • Coding interview + System design interview

      • For research internships, an additional round may involve analyzing and presenting a research paper

  4. Step 3 – Founders interview (45 min): Conversation with two of our founders.

  5. References: Up to five calls with former colleagues or managers.
