2026 Intern, Agentic Browser Research Engineer (Summer)

<p><strong>Lab Summary:</strong></p> <p>The Web Platform Team consists of engineers dedicated to researching innovative methods for creating and consuming content on the Web. Join our team and contribute to developing agentic browser capabilities that perform complex, multi-step autonomous tasks on behalf of users in a safe, secure, and trustworthy environment.<br><br><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work together with the engineering team to create quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts.</li> <li>Contribute to the research activities and patents for our team.</li> <li>Evaluate AI model integrations for given use-cases and make recommendation for product direction.</li> <li>Summarize your progress and solutions by the end of your internship.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.</li> <li>Practical experience with web agents - either a DOM based, or vision model based agentic loop interaction with web content.</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of several Web or Computer-use agentic architectures alternatives currently commercially available.</li> <li>Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and DOM concepts.</li> <li>Familiarity with web scraping frameworks like Puppeteer and at least one front-end framework.</li> <li>Experience evaluating AI model, system performance and designing AI benchmarks.</li> </ul> <p>Special Attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in reinforcement learning, reward modeling, verifiable rewards.</li> <li>Experience with MCP, tool calling and agentic skills integrations.</li> <li>On-device (edge) sLLM inference, on-device classifiers, model quantization for embedded devices.</li> <li>First- or co-authored publications on AI-Agent at leading workshops or conferences.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Our total rewards programs are designed to motivate and engage exceptional talent.
