<p><b><span>IT Assistant, Intern  </span></b><br /> </p><p><b><span>Position Summary:</span></b> </p><ul><li><p><span>Part-time (15-20/hours per week) </span></p></li><li><p><span>Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm </span></p></li><li><p><span>100% on-site (San Diego)  </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Assistant Intern to join our San Diego team. This internship offers a unique  opportunity  to  gain  hands-on  experience  in  various  aspects  of  IT  infrastructure  and  support.  As an IT Assistant Intern, you will work closely with our San Diego IT team on several key projects and daily operations. This role is  designed  to  provide  you  with  practical  experience  and  a  deeper  understanding  of  user  support,  IT infrastructure, network management, and asset management.</span><br /> </p><p><b>The Role:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Assist in replacing network switches, including pre-cutover testing and post-migration validation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Document network configurations and participate in downtime planning</span></p></li><li><p><span>Clean up and validate existing IT hardware inventory (e.g., laptops, peripherals)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Update data to ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring accurate asset information</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide basic IT support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues</span></p></li><li><p><span>Setting up workstations (New Hire or location change)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Installation of new printers or addressing issues with current printers</span></p></li><li><p><span>Other duties as assigned</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>The Candidate:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Currently  enrolled  in  a  college  or  university  program,  preferably  in  Information  Technology,  Computer Science, or a related field </span></p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of network infrastructure and IT hardware, required</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, required</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, required</p></li><li><p>Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes, required</p></li><li><p><span>Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds</span></p></li></ul><p><br /><b>Pay:</b><br /><br />The expected starting hourly pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $23/HR - $25/hour.
