The Opportunity:


As a CACI Junior Solutions Operations Intern, you will provide solution and proposal development, as well as administrative, support across the Technology Solutions Group, ensuring CACI proposals provide compelling, executable solutions that receive favorable evaluations from Government customers within the DoD, IC, and IA marketplaces. You will be working closely with members of the TSG, as well as line members from ME&S, DS, EIT, and other LOBs. You will be required to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of eff orts virtually and in-person.


Responsibilities:
You will work with the Technology Solutions Group to develop a complete and compelling response to Government needs and requirements. In addition to this, the TSG coordinates with partners in Business Development, Proposal Operations, Capture Management, and Line Subject Matt er Experts (SMEs) to create a successful proposal. Specifically, Junior Solutions Operation Intern can expect to:

  • Provide planning and administrative support for all bids. Work with leadership to update and maintain schedules for solution reviews for TSG bids and put out meeting requests as needed for all related events (Reviews, Deep Dives, etc.).
  • Update SharePoint and other data management sites with appropriate scheduling, solution, and other related information.
  • Provide data gathering/document development support to Solution Operations experts. Coordinate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure proper Knowledge Management.
  • Provide document support and manage implementation of solution content throughout the proposal process.
  • Look for areas of improvement across Solution Support/Operations and be willing and able to implement process improvement solutions.
  • Interview Solution Operations experts to gain insight to past and current proposal eff orts and create process improvement arti facts, including PowerPoint fi les, that capture lessons learned.
  • Conduct analysis on raw proposal and solution information to develop early solution outlines for design and storyboard phases and develop graphics that support the formation of solution documents.
  • Provide support to SMEs to build solution documents that address customer/stakeholder hot buttons, critical issues, and stated requirements. This includes the collection of metrics and supporting documentation that bolsters solution claims.



Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Justice/Law, International Affairs, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 month’s experience supporting federal contracting and/or proposal development efforts.
  • Must effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. This includes the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels.
  • Act and work independently while applying critical thinking to solve problems before elevating issues to leadership.
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.) with practical understanding of SharePoint.
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
