What awaits you

  • Be responsible for the cost analysis and cost understanding of main bought-in products
  • Ensure the understanding of component pricing within the organization
  • Assist Program Purchasing and Commodity Leads to understand costs associated with quality / part design / supply chain
  • Support innovative, cost-conscious solutions together with Purchasing, Engineering, Sales and other program functions
  • Write contracts for bought-in products and responsible for creating Purchase Orders and Scheduling Agreement
  • Drive use of cost estimation tools e.g. through training of Buyers worldwide
  • Develop cost reduction ideas through close collaboration with different functions within the organization
  • Generate total landed costs improvements through initialization of workshops at suppliers
  • Identify and execute cost optimizations within the commodities
  • Understand the tooling cost for bought-in components
  • Execute tooling audits and evaluate deviation between invoiced and KT estimated cost 


What you'll need to succeed:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s with a focus in Purchasing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics 
  • Business Experience in the Automotive Industry will be preferred
  • Knowledge in Value-, Design- and Price Analysis
  • Ideally Software Skills in Excel, ERP Systems - SAP, E-Matrix; Sharepoint, etc
  • Professional competencies required: Learning on the Fly, Compassion, Dealing with Ambiguity, Drive for Results, Organization
