We’re on a mission to transform an industry that’s been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.</p> <p>EquipmentShare is searching for a senior level and/or graduate student intern to join the AccountingTeam at our Home Office in Columbia, Missouri for the summer 2026.</p> <h3><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Shadow and learn from members of our Accounting &amp; Financial Reporting team.</li> <li>Assist with accounting research, preparation of journal entries, data entry, and recording and</li> <li>maintaining accurate and complete financial records.</li> <li>Use formulas, pivot tables and macros to manage and report data accordingly.</li> <li>Assist with reconciling accounts and other month end closing responsibilities.</li> <li>Assist with the preparation of financial reports, financial trend analysis, and peer company</li> <li>comparisons.</li> <li>Document process flows of information for key business processes, identifying the systems, risks,</li> <li>key reports used, and relevant internal controls from initiation to recording of transactions.</li> <li>Learn how to work as part of the accounting team to compile and analyze data, streamline</li> <li>processes, track information, and support the company’s business as it grows.</li> <li>Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why EquipmentShare?</strong></h3> <p>Because we do things differently — and we think you’ll feel it from day one. In turn, our interns have countless opportunities to make a tangible difference in an industry that’s long been resistant to change.</p> <p><strong>What You're Working With:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting</li> <li>Possess a basic understanding of GAAP and financial principles and terms, having satisfactorily</li> <li>Completed a variety of accounting related courses</li> <li>Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher</li> <li>Excellent communication skills</li> <li>Comfortable using Excel or similar spreadsheet tools</li> <li>Highly organized, pay attention to details, and able to multitask</li> <li>Have a strong desire to take on new challenges with a positive attitude</li> </ul> <h3><strong>A Workplace For All</strong></h3> <p>At EquipmentShare, we believe the best solutions come from a team that reflects the world around us.
