Software Development Intern (API Integration & Web Applications)

<h3><strong>Position overview</strong></h3><p>You will assist our Software Development experts in ensuring TRG's critical products are functioning properly while getting exposed to our internal projects in software development.</p><p><strong><em>Note:</em></strong> This is an <strong>unpaid internship</strong> intended for learning and academic development. The intern will work under supervision, receive technical guidance, and gain hands-on experience in software development and system integration.</p><p><strong><em>Working location:</em></strong> TRG International Office | 145-147 Nguyen Co Thach Street, An Khanh Ward, HCMC (<em>Hybrid</em>)</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and implement a custom tool for seamless integration with third-party systems via REST API and SOAP.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# and JavaScript to build backend and frontend components.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop user interfaces using standard HTML, ensuring responsive and accessible design.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work with SQL databases to handle data storage, querying, and management for the integration tool.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Test and debug the tool to ensure reliability, performance, and security.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist in documenting the tool's architecture, APIs, and integration workflows.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize the tool for better efficiency.</span></p></li></ul><h3><strong>Internship Requirements</strong></h3><h5><strong>1. Education &amp; Background</strong></h5><ul><li><p>Student in <strong>Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology</strong>, or a related field</p></li><li><p>Available to commit to the internship for the agreed duration and schedule (part-time or full-time, as applicable)</p></li></ul><h5><strong>2. Technical Knowledge (Foundational Level Expected)</strong></h5><ul><li><p>Basic to intermediate knowledge of <strong>C#</strong> and <strong>JavaScript</strong></p></li><li><p>Understanding of <strong>HTML</strong> and basic responsive web design principles</p></li><li><p>Fundamental knowledge of <strong>SQL</strong> and relational databases (queries, tables, basic joins)</p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of <strong>REST APIs</strong> (SOAP knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory)</p></li></ul><h5><strong>3. Development &amp; Learning Skills</strong></h5><ul><li><p>Willingness to learn and work hands-on with <strong>API integrations</strong> and third-party systems</p></li><li><p>Ability to write <strong>clean, readable, and maintainable code</strong> with guidance</p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of <strong>debugging and testing</strong> concepts</p></li><li><p>Interest in backend–frontend interaction and system integration</p></li></ul><h5><strong>4.
