About the Role
As a IT Intern within Rubrik’s Internal Audit team, you will support the execution of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program. This role demands a strong understanding of IT environments and programming languages like SQL, Python etc., strong documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization. We seek a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and is eager to take on challenges in terms of IT auditing.
Who We’re Looking For:
 
Enthusiastic students who are eager to learn on the job, take ownership of their responsibilities, and contribute meaningfully to the team. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and a basic understanding of IT audit concepts are essential. Prior IT audit experience is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Internal Audit team to support the execution of Rubrik’s SOX compliance program
  • Coordinate and participate in system walkthroughs to accurately identify and assess the design of key IT controls
  • Evaluate the design and test the operating effectiveness of key IT general controls (ITGCs), IT application controls (ITACs), and Key reports
  • Track remediation efforts for any identified issues by working with management and validate their closure
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit workpapers throughout all audit phases
  • Willingness to work US hours (PST) to support the Internal Audit team at Headquarters (if required)
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Knowledge of IT applications, cloud applications, IT architecture in general, CI/CD pipeline,
  • Experience in any programming language
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates high ethical standards and integrity in all tasks
  • Exposure to or experience in IT audit
  • Hands on experience in MS Office applications
  • Strong interest in learning business process and audit techniques and methodologies in the IT space
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
