We are looking for a Summer trainee, Electrical engineer to join our Port Cranes Technology Support Team/ Electrical Engineering team in Hyvinkää. As an Electrical engineer you will be working with electrical engineering of Port equipment. Your daily responsibilities include for example making wiring diagrams, BOMs, layout drawings of crane electrics. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located Hyvinkää with the option for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a power electronics or automation student who is eager to learn more about machine engineering tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background in electrical or automation studies (preferably 2nd-4th year studies)
• Understanding of basics of power electronics (inverters), PLC controls from your studies or working life
• Knowledge of traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
• Previous work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
