We are looking for a current student seeking a year-long placement internship to join our State Street Investor Services team to support business growth initiatives in the UK. The perfect candidate is a confident, self-starter with strong communication skills who thrives managing projects.

Program dates: 22June 2026 – 21 June 2027
You must be available to participate in the program in person in UK, starting from day one and for its full duration. You must be available to participate in the program in person, starting from day one and for its full duration and you are required to work from the office 4 days a week.
What you will be responsible for
Working with State Street teams to develop UK business plans
Understanding State Street products and working with the sales, product and marketing teams to drive business growth initiatives
Reviewing UK financials to identify opportunities to enhance our cost and revenue base
Owning and driving various employee engagement initiatives
Driving and consistently promoting a One State Street culture
Reviewing and enhancing internal processes
Supporting UK management with strategy presentations
Working with the UK Leadership team to review and enhance governance processes
Producing analysis of client and industry data to maximize our sales performance - utilizing tools such as Microsoft Office and Salesforce
Assisting the review of expanding the State Street business to new markets
Assisting in the implementation of new products to the UK
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should be:
A minimum 2.1 honor’s degree or equivalent (predicted)
Undergraduate students: Business, Finance, or related field
