PwC Channel Islands Overview

At PwC CI, we help you build, accelerate, and sustain momentum in a world that never stops moving. With our tech-forward and people-empowered network, we provide expert assurance, tax and advisory services to turn challenges into opportunities. Leveraging deep expertise and advanced capabilities, we ensure you’re ready for any future, helping you act boldly and achieve real results.

Programme

Our training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.

If you’re ready to take your first step toward a career in accountancy within a global professional services firm based in the Channel Islands, this opportunity is perfect for you.

What you’ll do

As an intern, you'll enjoy much the same experience and opportunities as our full-time trainee recruits, and gain exposure to a wide range of work and clients all whilst studying and completing a professional qualification.

You won't be thrown in at the deep end, we run an induction training course for all our interns, and you’ll get specific technical training that’ll give you all the skills you'll need. It'll be a steep learning curve, and you'll certainly feel stretched – but you’ll also have all the support you need to help you make a valuable impact and gain experiences that will take you forward in your career. As well as a 'buddy' to answer your questions, you’ll have regular feedback on your performance.

You will also study towards your ACCA Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting (RQF Level 2) professional qualification with our training provider - with all costs for study materials and exam fees covered by the firm.

During your internship your time will be split between our offices and studying at our training provider’s premises.

Be it the clients; the people; the networks; or the social events, you’ll be surprised at the skills you’ll develop and how much you’ll learn.

If you perform well, you could finish your internship with a view to securing a firm job offer as a permanent member of staff once school/university has ended.

Who is this vacancy for and what you’ll need

If you're in Year 12 or your penultimate year of university, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your skills and confidence for four weeks at PwC CI.

It doesn’t matter what you are currently studying, however you will need to be on your way to completing your A Levels (or equivalent) or university degree, being able to demonstrate good academic performance.

You’ll need to be residentially qualified in Guernsey or Jersey (the CI internship programme is only open to local people seeking employment in the CI).

When to apply

To avoid disappointment, we recommend applying as early as you can as applications for this role will close 6 February 2026.
