MDK is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Intern who is looking to gain first-hand experience working within our legal support services pod. In this role, you will learn internal and external systems, assist with preparing a variety of standard legal documents, ensure that all communications between clients, courts, and the legal team are handled efficiently, and more.

Your Role in Action

  • Prepare and process legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
  • Utilize case management system to ensure legal cases are progressing in a timely manner.
  • Review client affidavits for accuracy.
  • Update client communication portals daily.
  • Process mail received by the firm.
  • Communicate with courts and clients to obtain information needed in a case.
  • Actively work to become familiar with the entire legal process for all work performed by the team.
  • Prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Other administrative support as needed.
