The Sudbury office is looking for a contract full-time Co-op Engineering Student to join our Sudbury office. This position will begin in May 2026.

Duties:

  • Assist in pre-engineering site surveys and inspection during construction.
  • Design of roads, rail, sewers, watermains and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Help prepare AutoCAD and MicroStation and Revit design drawings.
  • Provides office support during the construction stage of projects.
  • Assist with quantity calculations and preparing tender documents.
  • Collection of design background data from record sources.
  • Assist in the preparation of calculations, design drawings and reports related to site servicing and projects.
  • Aid the RVA team to ensure quality project delivery to our clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and relevant to position. 

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must be currently enrolled as a third- or fourth-year student in the Civil Engineering program.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation/Civil3D/Revit is an asset.
  • Demonstrates superior communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
  • Must have a valid G Class Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
  • Civil engineering student at a recognized university.

Compensation Range

The salary range for this position is: $25-$30/hour

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
