As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer Intern in our Madison office for Summer 2026, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Expertise of our most successful Instrumentation and Controls Engineer Intern:

  • Interest in industrial, process, or building HVAC control systems and instrumentation.
  • Enrolled in an engineering degree program from an ABET accredited school in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Completed a minimum of one year engineering coursework with minimum 2.5 GPA.

Effective skills to help you flourish:

  • Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations.
  • Exposure to Building Automation Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, (PLC), Programming, and Electrical Schematics.
  • Exposure to drafting programs such as AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Strong commitment to service excellence.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and within a team environment.
