Job Description:
AriensCo is currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Strategic Sourcing/Supply Chain Intern located in Fayetteville, TN! This support role will work directly with our supply chain team, offering exposure to manufacturing, sourcing, and distribution. You will interact daily with supervisors, project leaders, engineers, technicians, skilled trades, and cross-functional project stakeholders.
THE DAY TO DAY…
- Support supply chain staff members by assisting in data gathering and analysis of supplier pricing proposals, parts categorization and sourcing strategy
- Assist with a wide range of supply chain projects including commodity research, part consolidation and standardization
- Kanban data cleansing, and process automation
YOU WILL GAIN EXPERIENCE IN…

- Replenishment systems and inventory management
- Supply chain process improvements
- International procurement and transportation processes
YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO…
- Dependent and independent demand sourcing processes and principles
- Master production scheduling
- Fabrication processes include welding, brake press metal forming, laser, cutting, machining, stamping, powder painting and more
- Sales, inventory, and operations planning (SIOP) processes
- Sourcing methodologies and tactics
THE QUALIFICATIONS…
- Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited university studying toward a Bachelor’s degree with a declared major in Supply Chain and/or Operations Management, Business, or similar
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel, experience preferred
- APICS certification preferred
