As an Industrial Digitalization Mandatroy Intern (m/f/d) at MKS, you will become part of a forward‑thinking team that drives the digital transformation of our industrial systems. You will work hands‑on with cutting‑edge IoT technologies, cloud architectures, and data analytics tools to build solutions that enable smarter, more connected, and more efficient operations. Your responsibilities

  • Developing and deploying AWS IoT–based data logging pipelines to collect and manage sensor and device data
  • Designing and implementing data processing workflows and machine learning models using AWS SageMaker
  • Building interactive dashboards and reports with AWS QuickSight to visualize insights, trends, and system performance
  • Testing, validating, and refining cloud solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and data integrity
  • Collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, and cross‑functional stakeholders to define requirements and drive solution development
  • Documenting technical workflows, system architectures, and operational procedures for seamless handover and future reference

What do you bring to the table

  • Enrollment in a master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Science
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and familiarity with AWS services (AWS IoT, SageMaker, QuickSight)
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or R
  • Interest in data analytics, IoT ecosystems, and machine learning workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, analytical thinking, and a proactive, self‑driven mindset
  • High motivation to learn and contribute to impactful corporate initiatives
  • Compensation: €620/month
