About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager Intern to join our Project Office in Technology. A team that connects initiatives across Nordea Asset Management and ensures delivery with quality, transparency, and professional project management. You will support the delivery and coordination of technology and business initiatives, working closely with project leads, agile value stream teams, and business stakeholders to keep activities on track, ensure clear reporting, and support the delivery of strategic priorities.
This internship is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience with project management, technology governance, and stakeholder coordination in a large international organization.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and following up on project and value streams activities
  • Support preparation of initiatives and value streams documentation (status reports, timelines, action logs)
  • Participate in meetings; document decisions, risks, and next steps
  • Support establishing our Power BI reporting dashboard
  • Help maintain our costs controlling overview
  • Help maintain reporting dashboards, project trackers, and reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate with teams in Copenhagen, Lisbon, and other offices
  • Support ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and communication materials for leadership
  • Contribute to improving processes and supporting the maturity of value streams

 

Who you are

 

We are looking for a structured and collaborative project manager intern who enjoys making things happen and ensuring clarity. You are driven, proactive, and highly organized. You work well with different teams and stakeholders from different cultures and backgrounds, keeping people aligned and informed. You are committed and reliable, able to balance several initiatives at once, and have strong communication skills.

 

Your background:

  • A recently completed or final-year Master degree in relevant fields (e.g., Engineering, Business, IT, Economics, Management)
  • Familiarity with both agile and waterfall project management 
  • Keen interest in Technology and financial topics and how Technology (e.g., AI) can be an enabler for the business 
  • Effective organization, self-discipline, and communication skills
  • Comfortable with governance frameworks, reporting, and stakeholder coordination
  • An initiative-driven and critical mindset with the ability to manage tasks effectively and work collaboratively
  • Able to translate complex information into clear status updates and visuals
  • Good analytical and organizational skills
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal Comfortable working in English)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

 

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Nice to have: experience with Power BI (developing dashboards, visualizing insights)
