About the Role

This role will give you a greater understanding of how the content that you will use for your future careers is created and will enhance your ability to navigate around major Pharmaceutical Press publications.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p style="text-align:center;"><span><strong>To undertake this Internship, you need to be available from mid-June for 12 weeks; dates to be confirmed.</strong></span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span><strong>Your tasks will include:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Preparing data for content creation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Checking typeset pages in preparation for print</span></p></li><li><p><span>Tracking and reporting on progress of project work</span></p></li><li><p><span>Updating our databases.</span></p></li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;"><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span><strong>During your internship you will:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>Learn about publishing tools in a professional environment</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>Learn how content is created</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>Build skills and confidence</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>Learn about how the Society advances the profession of pharmacy and supports its members.</span></p></li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;"><span><strong>The right candidates will have:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>Excellent typing skills and general IT skills</span></p></li><li><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>Good organisational skills.</span></p></li></ul><p style="text-align:left;"><span><strong>The Directorate:</strong></span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong>In the Publishing Directorate, we’re the world leaders in evidence-based pharmaceutical publications and guidance. Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals trust us to provide expert analysis, educational support, webinars, and news that informs, supports and enhances their practice. We independently source, evaluate, and communicate and make practical medicines knowledge accessible worldwide.
