Internship – Electrical Engineer Intern (AME)
Brentwood is a solutions provider for highly diverse worldwide industries including automotive, medical packaging, cooling systems, stormwater management, and water & wastewater treatment. At Brentwood, we engineer and manufacture both custom and proprietary products ranging from sterile medical packaging to highly sophisticated water media systems.
Our diverse capabilities and expertise in these industries have allowed us to experience continued growth both here in the United States and abroad for over 50 years.
The Electrical Engineering Intern will play a vital role in working through Brentwood's machinery alongside our Process Engineering team to optimize machine alarm settings. They will collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) and Maintenance (Process Engineering) to troubleshoot machine alarms, research root causes, and serve as a hands-on link between controls, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting.
The Electrical Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience working directly with industrial machines, troubleshooting real electrical, mechanical, and controls issues, and learning how machine alarms integrate with MES systems to support shop-floor operations.
