<p><strong>Program Overview</strong> The AQ Summer Analyst Program offers undergraduate students a fast-paced, hands-on introduction to software investment banking. Over the course of the summer, you will work as an integral part of the deal team alongside Associates, Vice Presidents, and senior bankers. You will gain exposure to live M&A and growth capital transactions and learn the fundamentals of transaction execution, including financial analysis, valuation, and industry research.</p>
<p>As a Summer Analyst, you will be expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. You will provide critical support to transaction execution, assist in the creation of presentation materials, financial models, and conduct deep-dive research into the software landscape. This experience is designed to build your technical skillset and prepare you for a successful career in investment banking.</p>

<li><strong>Program Duration:</strong> Summer 2027 (10 weeks)</li>
<li><strong>Eligibility:</strong> Current undergraduate student graduating between December 2027 and June 2028</li>
<li><strong>Work Authorization:</strong> Permanent U.S. work authorization required</li>
<li><strong>Full-Time Opportunity:</strong> Candidates demonstrating exceptional performance will receive an offer to return as a full-time Analyst following graduation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support the deal team in advising software clients and financial sponsors on strategic M&A, private equity, and growth equity transactions</li>
<li>Perform comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to support transaction positioning and business development initiatives</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation of client-facing materials, including confidential information memoranda (CIMs), pitch decks, and management presentations</li>
<li>Support financial modeling and valuation analysis, including public comparables, precedent transactions, and DCF analysis</li>
<li>Maintain internal databases and track software industry M&A activity and trends</li>
<li>Contribute proactively to AQ’s collaborative and high-performance culture</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028</li>
<li>Demonstrated interest in finance and technology through relevant coursework</li>
<li>Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.5 preferred)</li>
<li>Solid understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously</li>
<li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and work collaboratively in a small team</li>
<li>Passion for software, technology, and M&A</li>
