About the job

As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Operations Team (primarily Project Managers, Production Team Managers, and Manufacturing Engineer) in an assembly and manufacturing environment. This is important part of contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization.

This role is based in Richmond, VA.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Primary functions will be creating supporting factory layout activities (AutoCAD), time studies, and creating/updating engineering drawings. 

  • Candidate must be adept at taking directions, work well within cross-functional teams, and be customer focused.  Safe work practices, proper ethics, and attention to detail are required.

  • Assist in project coordination and must have basic project management skills. 

What you know:

You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering with relevant experience, and:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.

  • Competent in the use of CAD (AutoCAD or similar) software.

  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week through the summer and potentially fall semester.

We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The hourly rate for this role is $22 to $27 USD per hour.
