About the Role
Participate in the areas of data science, data-driven analysis, signal processing, data mining, and machine learning. Performs exploratory data analysis and visualizations of multivariate clinical data sets Works closely with software engineering and other Data Scientists to test algorithms Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, physics, and engineering. Must graduate between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Proficient understanding of modern statistical data analysis techniques. Strong programming skills in Python. Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms and modern OOP techniques. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered). Previous research experience in biological signal processing or biomedical data analysis. Experience with signal processing and feature extraction from physiological signals. Proficiency in developing software within Mac/Linux programming environments. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. Knowledge of cloud computing and big data technologies. Experience in medical algorithm development and support within the medical industry. Knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular, and respiratory physiology. Experience working with Deep Neural Networks and deep learning toolkits such as TensorFlow and Theano. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under mentor guidance. Collaborate with peers, management, operations teams, and external organizations.
