Job Responsibilities:

 

 Under the guidance of engineers, work with general purpose or embedded software systems to influence the design and development of innovative forklifts, material handling equipment, and related systems.

  • Write and/or modify computer programs using Java, Angular, C/C++, C#, Python or similar computer language.
  • Test and review work by other developers
  • Work with business analysts to clarify requirements.
  • Utilize Scrum as a member of the development team.
  • For embedded positions:
    • Develop software for Real-time Operating Systems or Android applications.
    • Conceptualize ideas for software control of sensors, actuators and systems.
    • Conduct bench-level unit testing and on-vehicle verification and validation tests.

 

Job Qualifications:

 

  • Pursuing a four-year college degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field. 
  • Experience in programming and analysis, along with strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills necessary. 
  • Candidate must be a highly self-motivated individual with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow and write testing procedures to confirm product quality.
  • Candidate must have a reliable means of transportation.
