State and Local Tax Intern - Spring 2027

<p>The <span style="color: rgb(53, 152, 219);"><strong>State and Local Tax (SALT) Department</strong> <span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">of</span> <strong>Anders</strong></span> is seeking an <strong><span style="color: rgb(53, 152, 219);">Intern</span>&nbsp;</strong>who is motivated to learn, excited to collaborate and passionate about delivering outstanding results. This internship will begin in early January and last until the April 15 deadline. It is in-person in our office in St. Louis, MO.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: rgb(53, 152, 219);">What You’ll Do</span>:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Prepare sales/use tax returns</li> <li>Analyze data, perform tax research, and assist in tax planning</li> <li>Collaborate on multi-state tax projects, like refund reviews, tax compliance, nexus reviews, voluntary disclosures, audit defense, and assessment appeals</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(53, 152, 219);"><strong>Your Qualifications:</strong></span>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Must be enrolled in an accounting curriculum at the rising junior level or higher (Graduating May 2028 or earlier)  </li> <li>Plan to pursue CPA</li> <li>Minimum of 25 hours/week required</li> </ul> <p>When you join our team, you’re an integral part of a dynamic culture with opportunities to make a real impact on clients, colleagues, and our community.
