Start date: July 2026 in Marseille

 

We are looking for a Competition Law Trainee, passionate about fostering fair market practices and eager to deepen his/her expertise in antitrust and competition law. Alongside excellent academic credentials and a strong foundation in legal principles, the ideal candidate is business-savvy and motivated to address complex legal and regulatory challenges. 

 

Key Accountabilities

  1. Regulatory Compliance: Draft guidelines, deliver trainings, raise awareness on competition-law related topics.
  2. Merger Control: Assist with merger control analysis of M&A projects, merger filing preparation, monitoring of integration planning process, and enforcement of behavioral commitments.
  3. Business Support: Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored legal advice, helping them navigate complex competition law frameworks.

 

 

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Education & Qualifications: Qualified or trainee lawyer with a strong academic background, preferably with a focus on Competition law.

Experience: Experience in antitrust, merger control, or related regulatory matters (internships or initial work experience will be valued).

Specialist Knowledge & Skills: Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to address complex legal issues independently and as part of a team.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Good knowledge of the French and English languages. Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach to work.
