In addition, you&nbsp;will be tasked with assisting and supporting the Compliance department with various research projects and compliance audits</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Shadow attorneys in a wide array of legal and business matters, including in the negotiation of contracts and counseling business clients</li> <li>Assist with compliance matters (e.g., anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, sanctions, export controls, antitrust) as may be applicable&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with research regarding developing compliance case law and regulations and their impacts on the company</li> <li>Assist in compliance audits and investigations as applicable</li> <li>Assist in the compliance risk assessment</li> <li>Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and internal legal processes including further development of playbooks and policies/procedures&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with due diligence efforts for M&amp;A and other strategic transactions as may be applicable</li> <li>Research new technology and legal industry techniques to make Legal department systems and processes more efficient</li> <li>Observe collaborative inter-departmental meetings between Compliance and other teams (Sales, Marketing, etc. as applicable)</li> <li>Research varying subject matters that affect the company and its global affiliates</li> </ul> <p><strong>Learning Objectives:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Improve ability to&nbsp;perform thorough and competent legal research</li> <li>Improve ability to&nbsp;balance the interests of the business with legal risk</li> <li>Learn what compliance lawyers do at a cybersecurity organization and gain their perspectives on their job</li> <li>Make decisions in unfamiliar areas under conditions of complexity and time pressure</li> </ul> <p><strong>Internship Opportunities/Experiences:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Compliance Intern will have a formal mentor and may participate in organized activities, leadership training and local community service projects to understand the company culture and career opportunities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Training:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Compliance Intern will assist with various tasks involving sanctions and export controls, anti-bribery and corruption, antitrust, third party due diligence, and whistleblower laws y, and related corporate governance &amp;
