Job Description:

The Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting the development, analysis, and project functions of engineering initiatives for RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience store locations. In addition to departmental support, the intern contributes to a specific Intern Group Project to gain company-wide perspective and develop a solution to enhance the business.

What You'll Do: 

  • Provides analyses and recommendations for the design, development and permitting for RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience stores.

  • Works to resolve technical issues in new and existing engineering plans. Researches industry best practices and trends to identify innovative engineering opportunities and solutions.

  •  Makes alterations to engineering drawings and designs to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Provides support with special projects as needed.

What We're Looking For: 

  • Current enrollment in a college or university with a major that aligns with the department (Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Office) and Bluebeam preferred

  • Previous internship experience preferred
