Summer Intern Program duration: June 1 – August 7, 2026.

Enterprise Architecture and AI Governance Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess Current Governance Frameworks: Evaluate existing EA and AI governance processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop Modernization Roadmap: Create a roadmap to mature governance practices, aligning them with industry standards and best practices.

  • Explore Emerging Technologies: Research and recommend tools and technologies such as Automation, AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI to streamline governance processes and improve efficiency.

  • Design & Implement Governance Improvements: Select a governance area for enhancement and take it from concept through design and implementation, leveraging AI/automation where applicable.

  • Build Enterprise Catalogs & Repositories: Develop and maintain repositories of standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns in EA and AI domains.

  • Benchmark Against Industry Trends: Conduct comparative analysis of governance models and frameworks used by leading organizations to inform modernization efforts.

  • Support Policy & Compliance Alignment: Assist in drafting or refining governance policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical AI standards.

  • Create Documentation & Communication Materials: Prepare clear documentation, presentations, and dashboards to communicate governance improvements and technology recommendations to stakeholders.

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements for Interns:

  • Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry

  • Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive

  • Highly organized

  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail

  • Experience creating and delivering presentations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to learn quickly and solve problems

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Collaborative and inclusive team player

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $21.00/hr. to $23.00/hr. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
