2026 - Construction Management Intern

Winthrop is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. Winthrop specialises in providing Turnkey Data Centre Solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.

We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Management Intern to join our project delivery teams. This position is ideal for a student who is interested in gaining hands‑on experience in large‑scale construction projects and learning from experienced industry professionals. You will support day-to-day site operations, assist with documentation, coordination, and quality control, and gain exposure to the full construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Construction Management team with daily site operations.
• Support in reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Participate in site walks, inspections, and progress monitoring.
• Help track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and communication.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, logs, and documentation.
• Support health & safety initiatives and ensure compliance with site protocols.
• Contribute to quality control checks and reporting.
• Participate in meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide general administrative and project support as required.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in construction and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and site processes (preferred but not essential).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work on-site and in a fast‑paced environment.
