About the Role

Your Team Responsibilities

As an intern in the Frankfurt office, you will support client coverage teams working across MSCI’s product lines, with a primary focus on Sustainability and Climate solutions as well as Index solutions for passive investments.

You will work closely with sales and relationship managers and collaborate with internal teams across research, product, and operations, gaining exposure to the full sales and client relationship management lifecycle.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales and client coverage teams in day-to-day client relationship management
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and pitch materials
  • Help coordinate client meetings, including preparation, follow-ups, and internal documentation
  • Respond to client inquiries and support ad-hoc analyses related to index and investment solutions
  • Conduct market, client, and competitor research to support sales and coverage initiatives
  • Maintain and update CRM systems, client reports, and internal tracking tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality client deliverables

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Strong interest in sales, client relationship management, and financial markets, particularly index-based and passive investment solutions
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and the investment process
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English are required
