2026 - Planning Intern

Winthrop is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. Winthrop specialises in providing Turnkey Data Centre Solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Planning Intern to support our planning team with data analysis, forecasting, scheduling, and process coordination. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and eager to gain hands-on experience in planning and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for planning activities (e.g., demand forecasting, resource planning, workflow scheduling).
• Support preparation of planning reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Help maintain planning documents, schedules, and tracking tools to ensure accuracy and version control.
• Conduct research on industry trends, historical performance, and key metrics to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, or HR (depending on the function).
• Participate in planning meetings and support meeting logistics, note-taking, and follow-up actions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency.
• Perform other administrative and analytical tasks as assigned.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset.
