<p>What you'll do:</p>

<li class="">Own and ship a meaningful project, end-to-end. We believe strongly in ownership at The Trade Desk, and we are committed to you having something substantial to show for your time here that will make a positive impact for the team</li>
<li class="">Receive one-on-one mentorship from an experienced software engineer</li>
<li class="">Collaborate with a globally connected team of engineers, interns & other teams and departments in cities across the world</li>
<li class="">Work with new technologies across a wide spectrum of computer science, including: distributed systems, <span class="skill must_skill 7zzxygyf7ra" data-toggle="tooltip">petabyte-scale data processing</span>, <span class="skill must_skill hmqzldk1pp" data-toggle="tooltip">machine learning</span>/AI, and <span class="skill must_skill c37gl9ed2g8" data-toggle="tooltip">UI/UX</span> </li>

<p class="">You might be a great fit for a Software Engineer internship at The Trade Desk if you:</p>

<li class="">Are fluent in one or more modern object-oriented programming languages</li>
<li class="">Have a firm grasp on basic <span class="skill good_skill 4rz2i285ksc" data-toggle="tooltip">data structures</span> and <span class="skill good_skill o91ngkftc0p" data-toggle="tooltip">algorithmic techniques</span></li>
<li class="">Are a quick and self-directed learner. We provide close support and mentorship, but you will have ownership over the design, plan, and implementation of what you build.</li>
<li class="">Are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program</li>
<li class="">Are expected to graduate between Autumn 2026 and Summer 2027 </li>
<li class="">You need to be available working 3 days in person in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). </li>

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. </p>
