This internship is designed to help you build confidence, strengthen your skills, and explore how your passion for dentistry can influence care at scale.</p><p></p><p>In this internship, you will play a hands-on role in advancing clinical insights and supporting strategic initiatives that help us improve dental health outcomes. Your contributions may include:</p><ul><li>Supporting clinical research projects that shape our coverage positions and influence care guidelines.</li><li>Reviewing and updating Clinical Position Papers through literature reviews of scientific publications, clinical standards, and organizational policies.</li><li>Drafting clear, evidence-based summaries and recommendations that contribute to team decision-making.</li><li>Partnering with Dental Clinical Operations, Product Marketing, Sales, Network Management, and Competitive Intelligence to learn how clinical expertise drives strategy.</li><li>Developing new or revised Clinical Position Papers informed by scientific evidence and professional guidelines.</li><li>Presenting your findings to the Dental Clinical team to build shared understanding and support final position development.</li><li>Contributing to additional clinical or operational projects as needed.</li><li>Other related projects or tasks may be assigned as needed.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p>Candidate must be currently enrolled in a 1st year dental program.</p><p><b>Schedule</b></p><p>You must be available to work a 35-hour work week for 8 weeks beginning June 8, 2026. Working hours are Monday – Friday, core business hours are 8:00AM – 5:00PM Eastern.</p><p><b>Location</b></p><p>This is a hybrid role, and 3 days/week will be located at our Bloomfield, CT office located at: 900 Cottage Grove, Bloomfield, CT 06152.</p><p><b>Work Authorization</b></p><p>This temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B, CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future.</p><p><b>Supervision</b></p><p>Dr. Cary Sun, Chief Dental Officer</p><p>Dr. Deborah Fuller, National Dental Director</p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p>For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of $32/hour depending on relevant factors, including experience, major and geographic location.</p><p><b>Application Instructions</b></p><p>Interested students must submit a complete application, resume, and cover letter.</p><p><b>Deadline</b></p><p><b><i>Applications deadline is March 13, 2026.</i></b></p><div><p>Confidential, unpublished property of The Cigna Group.
