The Planning Internship is a 12-week Summer internship designed for students interested in supply chain or analytics. Located in our Niles, IL HQ, this internship will provide hands on experience supporting our planning and distribution functions that keep products moving efficiently across our retail network. Interns will collaborate closely with the distribution team to plan and coordinate accurate, on time order fulfillment while ensuring timely delivery of products to retail locations. In this role, Interns will build strong relationships with local teams, using effective communication to understand their needs and support their success. They will also apply analytical skills to identify process improvement opportunities and help implement strategies that enhance the overall distribution and planning workflow. Ideal candidates are detail oriented, analytical, and eager to gain experience in planning and supply chain operations as they work toward a future career in the field.

 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Perform and accomplish tasks, activities, and projects with guidance from Intern Manager 
  • Meet and/or exceed project deliverables and deadlines 
  • Develop technical expertise as needed for functional area 
  • Develop business acumen by seizing opportunities to learn 
  • Apply functional academic knowledge and skills to the specific internship position with a professional approach 
  • Collaborates with members of their designated team and builds relationships with customers, leaders, and peers within the company 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience:  

  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with 0 to 1 years of general work experience 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The Company will not sponsor applicants for work visas
