About Us

At Origin (Formerly 10xConstruction), we’re building intelligent autonomous robots that transform the way construction happens in the real world. Our mission is to bring cutting-edge robotics, computer vision, AI, and automation to the construction industry and unlock superhuman capability for builders.

We’re looking for a DevOps Intern who’s excited to learn, build, automate, and support real systems that power our robots and engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

As a DevOps Intern, you will:

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins).
  • Work with the engineering team to automate build and deployment workflows.
  • Help manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Support containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Write scripts (Python/Bash) to automate recurring tasks and system operations.
  • Maintain configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
  • Assist with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
  • Contribute to internal documentation and DevOps best practices.

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Basic understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good grasp of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) — coursework or hands-on projects preferred.
  • Experience with Docker; exposure to Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with maintaining logging and monitoring infra with good experience making dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
