Learning Outcomes

  • Basic understanding about modelling, product, and valuation.
  • Advanced actuarial programming skills.
  • Advanced programming skills in various actuarial tools: Python, SQL, Prophet, etc.
  • Communication skill in a dynamic and active enterprise environment.

Description

  • Perform Prophet modelling and deliver quarter-end/year-end modelling and integration of new products in Master Prophet model.
  • Enriching documentation and guideline for modelling process.
  • Improving coding efficiency and run-time.
  • Perform business data-driven insights to support management action to improve persistency.
  • Enhance existing dashboards and develop new ones to meet stakeholder requirements and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Document data usage and processes for new business intelligence tools to ensure transparency and governance.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and implement automation solutions.
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Education: bachelor’s degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics and/or statistics.
  • Experience: prior Actuarial/ Finance internship is preferred.
  • Skills (technical skill):
    - Basic knowledge of Prophet, able to set up runs and read codes
    - Knowledge in VBA, Python, SQL, or R.
    - Experience working with Microsoft packages
  • Will (soft skill):
    - English fluency is necessary for this position.
    - Good communication and presentation skills, team player, organized and punctual.
