As an intern at PwC, you will get hands-on experience and exposure to various industries, allowing you to develop your skills and gain valuable insights into the world of professional services. In your internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real client projects.

At PwC, the Tax HRMS (Human Resource Management System) team typically focuses on implementing and managing technology solutions that help clients streamline their human resources and payroll processes. This can include:

  • Assist in developing and writing computer programs under supervision to support organizational goals.
  • Learn to create basic workflow diagrams and charts to illustrate program functionality.
  • Participate in software testing processes to identify and report bugs and inconsistencies.
  • Observe and assist in writing code for software patches and bug fixes.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative solutions to problems.
  • Shadow team members during client interactions to understand needs and how software can address them.
  • Assist in performing regular audits to identify software inefficiencies and contribute ideas for improvement.
  • Help maintain and update documentation for programs under guidance. Learn about system quality management, including troubleshooting and bug elimination processes.
  • Observe and assist in system quality checks before deployment to live sites.
  • Gain understanding of system stability, security, reliability, accessibility, and accuracy requirements.
  • Learn about proper management of company applications (e.g., Github, Zendesk) with respect to security and access authority.
  • Study and apply industry coding best practices and basic cybersecurity principles in assigned tasks.
  • Participate in code reviews to learn about code quality and security standards.

The team works closely with clients to tailor solutions that fit their specific needs and ensure that their HR functions operate seamlessly and efficiently.

  • Computer Science; Computer Engineering and anything related to IT/Tech
  • Java; PHP (Laravel Framework)
