About the Role

The Geneva Human Resources team, in Satigny, Geneva, is looking for a

 

 Human Resources Trainee (min. 6 months)

 

 

In this position your mission will be to support the Geneva HR Community, working on local administrative HR related topics, learning & development, talent acquisition, employee engagement and related projects, in collaboration with the Geneva and Global Human Resources team.

 

Pre-requisites

  • Only students enrolled at a fully accredited degree program (BSc or MSc) with an Internship Agreement are welcome to apply
  • Only students who are Swiss, European or with a B Permit are welcome to apply

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HR Business Partners with local administrative related tasks to ensure HR compliance and world-class customer services to the business
  • Support Talent Acquisition and third-party partners with recruitment requests locally, including liaison with the business, hiring managers and HR Business Partners
  • Offer an outstanding candidate experience aligned with our employment branding strategy, and take part in career fairs and events
  • Promote and support local employee and engagement events, including employment branding and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
  • Learning and Development: Coordinate and liaise with external and internal key stakeholders to offer tailored learning & development opportunities
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle projects, such as the implementation of new systems and processes related to Performance, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition amongst others

  • Discover the various facets of dsm-firmenich from the “inside” across all Business Units and Business Partners
  • Work in a multicultural environment and manage exciting projects as well as a great number of interactions with various stakeholders

  • Learn a varied range of new technologies, Human Resources skills, techniques, and tools

 

You bring

  • Strong knowledge and/or interest in Human Resources, mainly in HR administration, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development
  • Thorough communication skills, ability to interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural environment, able to build trustful partnership with commitment and business curiosity
  • Agile, driven and resourceful, can-do attitude, able to prioritize and work under tight deadlines, without neglecting rigor and attention to details
  • Digital savvy with good reporting and analytical skills, data and KPI driven
  • Good project management skills, able to take initiatives and work independently
  • Excellent command of French (C1/C2) and English level (C1/C2) orally and in writing
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (advanced level of Excel and PPT) and ready to learn dsm-firmenich specific one
