This internship is ideal for graduate students (Master’s or Ph.D.) passionate about applying computational methods to solve complex biological and healthcare challenges. You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects involving genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and other multi-omics data, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to drive meaningful scientific insights.</p> <p>Our Bioinformatics team plays a crucial role in integrating computational biology, large-scale data analysis, and machine learning to drive discoveries in precision medicine and drug development.</p> <p>KEY ACTIVITIES</p> <ul> <li>Analyze large-scale omics datasets (genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, etc.) using bioinformatics pipelines</li> <li>Develop and implement computational models to uncover patterns in biological and clinical data</li> <li>Apply machine learning and statistical approaches to support biomarker discovery and precision medicine initiatives in oncology</li> <li>Collaborate with scientists, clinicians, and data scientists to design and execute data-driven research projects</li> <li>Optimize bioinformatics workflows and pipelines for high-throughput data analysis</li> <li>Present findings through technical reports, visualizations, and presentations to cross-functional teams</li> </ul> <p>MUST HAVES</p> <ul> <li>Master’s or Ph.D. candidate in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Data Science, or a related field</li> <li>Experience with programming languages such as Python and/or R, scientific computing environments, and reproducible research best practices.</li> <li>Understanding of computational pipelines for data analysis, integration and visualization</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex insights effectively</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Duration:</strong>&nbsp; 8 – 10 Weeks</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>WHY YOU’LL LOVE REFINED SCIENCE&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Team + Values</strong></p> <p>At RefinedScience, we seamlessly integrate top-tier clinical and biological data with expert knowledge to provide unparalleled insights.&nbsp; We maximize patient impact with these unique insights by optimizing clinical trial probability of success and time to actionable results.
