You’ll also have a chance to build community through our employee-run Business Resource Groups, participate in industry conferences, and enjoy unlimited standby travel anywhere we fly. </span></span></h4><p><span style="color:black;">The Onboard Digital Experience team is responsible for building the United brand through the strategic planning, design, and development of critical touchpoints in the overall customer experience onboard all United Airlines flights—aircraft interiors and seats, onboard amenities and partnerships, and Inflight Entertainment (IFE) experience and content.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">The Intern, Business Analyst will support data analytics initiatives, product development, and in-flight testing efforts across the onboard digital ecosystem. This role will focus on building data-driven insights, supporting project management activities, contributing to product documentation and wireframing, and assisting with functional testing onboard aircraft. The position will involve hands-on collaboration with product, data, engineering, and operations stakeholders and will require periodic travel for in-flight testing and validation.</span></p><ul><li><span style="color:black;">Partner with Data Analytics on platform performance reports and dashboards to track against program KPIs.</span></li><li><span style="color:black;">Support data infrastructure integration by tracking and documenting detailed decisions and action items, and promptly follow up and hold responsible owners accountable to agreed-upon deadlines.</span></li><li><span style="color:black;">Support product requirement definition, documentation and communication to ensure alignment across teams. </span></li><li><span style="color:black;">Support product development through on-ground and inflight testing (may include domestic and/or international travel) while also identifying and triaging pre-production and post-production issues through resolution. </span></li><li><span style="color:black;">Serve as support staff for the IFE program including deliverable tracking, general project management, and cross-functional communication with internal teams and external partners.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="color:black;">Direct Conversion Path: This internship may be eligible for full-time conversion based on performance in role, position availability and overall operational need, potentially offering a direct pathway to a career with us.</span><br><span style="color:black;"> </span></p><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Must be a <strong><u>current undergraduate/graduate student</u></strong> pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field <strong><u>graduating between Fall 2026 through Spring 2028</u></strong></li><li>Familiarity with data visualization tools, documentation platforms, or wireframing tools is a plus</li><li>Comfortable working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments </li><li>S<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:9.0pt;">trong analytical and problem-solving skills</span></li><li><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:9.0pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></li><li><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:9.0pt;"><span style="mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA;mso-fareast-font-family:"MS Mincho";mso-fareast-language:JA;mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast;">Willingness to travel and participate in in-flight testing activities</span></span></li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship</li><li>Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications</li><li>Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position </li></ul><p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:9.0pt;"><span style="mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA;mso-fareast-font-family:"MS Mincho";mso-fareast-language:JA;mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast;"><strong>Preferred:</strong></span></span></p><ul><li>Interest in aviation or product development</li><li>Previous project management</li><li>Previous experience in digital, media or entertainment industries</li><li><p>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships and collaborate with all levels of the organization</p><p> </p></li></ul><p>Posting dates: January 26, 2026 through January 30, 2026<br> </p><br>The starting rate for this role is $21.00.<br>The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills.
